A historical town, now a village of Stobreč lies on a peninsula sprawling to the mainland. With the population of 4000 inhabitans today is considered a suburb of neraby town Split.
Stobreč started its history as an old Greek settlement, Epetion, whose remains of old buildings are still preserved.
Today Stobreč is a Mediterranean, Dalmatian, modern and turist place.
We are a small school with 13 classrooms, but we have a rather big school garden with olive grove and mediterranean plants and a collection of Adriatic invertebrates.
In the year 2012 we founded the Cooperative „Lovorika“ and in 2016 we received the international status of an ECO-school.
